Sean S. Tolman is a registered and licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer and has been with Collision Safety Engineering, L.C. since 2004. He specializes in the research, investigation and reconstruction of automobile accidents and has expertise in photogrammetry, and simulation programs. Mr. Tolman has conducted full-scale vehicle tests including crash tests, sled tests, quasi-static strength tests, and handling and stability tests. He is also an adjunct instructor of engineering at Utah Valley University where he teaches Engineering Mechanics. Before joining CSE, he worked as a test engineer for Exponent in Phoenix, AZ.
Credentials & Professional Honors
Mr. Tolman earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 2002. He went on to earn his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2008. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering by the State of Utah.
